Welcome to Fisc Financial ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. Unlike other financial apps, Fisc is built on a "Local-First" architecture. This means your financial data and personal conversations live on your device, not on our servers.

1. Data Collection and Usage

1.1. Financial Data (Plaid)

When you connect your bank accounts via Plaid, your transaction data is downloaded directly to your device (iPhone). We do not have access to your bank credentials or transaction history. Use of Plaid is subject to Plaid's Privacy Policy.

1.2. AI Conversations & Mood Data

All conversations you have with Fisc and any mood data derived from them are processed locally on your device using the Apple Neural Engine. This data is never transmitted to us or any third-party cloud servers.

1.3. Waitlist Information

If you sign up for our waitlist, we collect your email address. This is the only personal data we store on our servers. It is used solely to notify you when Fisc is available or to share product updates. We do not sell or share this list with third parties.

2. Data Storage

• On-Device: All financial data, chat logs, and insights are stored locally on your iPhone's secure storage (Keychain/CoreData).
• Voluntary Backups: If you choose to enable iCloud Backups for your device, your Fisc data may be included in those backups, which are subject to Apple's iCloud security and privacy standards.

3. Third-Party Services

• Plaid: Used for bank account connectivity.
• Email Service Provider: Used to manage our waitlist.

4. Your Rights

Since we do not possess your financial or behavioral data, there is nothing for us to delete if you leave. To delete your data, simply delete the Fisc app from your phone.
